The new Clifton 9 is designed for daily running and walking, featuring a lightweight and plush build with a 3mm increase in stack height, a responsive foam midsole, and an improved outsole with Durabrasion rubber for durability. It has a breathable engineered knit upper, a gusseted tongue, and laces made from 70% recycled nylon and 30% recycled polyester. The shoe's upper mesh is 35% recycled polyester, while the collar, tongue lining, and strobel board are 60% recycled polyester, and the sockliner top cloth is fully recycled polyester. It employs an inherently stable geometry, an early stage MetaRocker™ for smooth transition, and a stripped-back upper with a plush heel, reflective heel panel, and streamlined tongue with a single medial gusset.
